Print & covering material


 


Folders & presentations

  • Cut edge / Flush mounted

    Print lined to the centre board and then die cut out, with holes if preferred to go in a ring binder. Cost effective and neat finish.

  • Wrap / Turnover edge

    Method in which the outer print is wrapped over the edge of the centre board, then the liner which is slightly smaller is applied on top. Benefit being that you can not see the centre board.

  • Standard sample folders

    Referring to folder that uses a standard format such as this 6pp folder which would have 3 pages or laps to view when open.

  • Sample mailers

    A product sample mailer in this case for a piece of carpet as an introduction to a new range released by the client to be sent out with an industry magazine and also direct to existing customers.

  • Flip flop folders

    An exceptional table top presentation design for larger ranges. In this case brochures are affixed on the top pages when open showing room shots where as the product is shown beneath.

  • Swatches

    Used to describe a collates set of swatches, usually bound together by post and screw, chain, or held together at the head of the swatch to provide a higher quality presentation.

  • Slip case

    Used to keep a collection of sample cards or presentations together, this item certainly helps increase shelf presence and can be produced with a lid or cover to improve the opening experience.

  • Carry case

    Important for when full ranges need to be transportable and kept together. This particular carry case contained a set of 5 large sample swatches and an edging folder for LVT vinyl samples.

  • Corner protectors

    Metal corner protectors are a nice addition to help with durability, especially to a product presentation finished a heavy fabric or book cloth.

  • Handles

    Available in a wide variety of styles and colours, carry handles are necessary for larger presentations to aide usage and transportability.

  • Ring mechanisms

    Can be riveted to any part of a product presentation allowing for a brochure or samples to be inserted. Many varieties and colours to suite.

  • Finger rings

    Can be inserted into a presentation for ease of movement or into the samples themselves for an elegant finish, possibly to go in a swatch ring or on a hanger.




Sampling material finishes

  • Knife cut

    Used for flat material such as paper or vinyl, a knife in this case a guillotine can be used to provide an accurate and sharp cut to material.

  • Die cut

    Die cut or overhead press machines are used with a custom tooling so material can be cut at any shape or size.

  • Chamfered / bevelled

    The process in which the edge of a cut piece of carpet is chamfered, with a choice of either straight or at an angle to give a neater presentation of the material.

  • Whipped

    A whipped carpet sample using a supplied, colour matched or contrasting yarn. In this case with a printed sash ribbon stitched in that can incorporate information.

  • Overlocked

    This technique can be used to prevent the fraying of material once it has been cut for sampling. The thread can be supplied, colour matched or even contrasting to give your preferred finish.

  • Taped

    Carpet and also fabric samples can be taped on the edges to prevent fraying and give a neat presentation. The tape can be heat sealed or in this case stitched with a decorative cotton.

  • Labelled

    All samples can be labelled although different materials are used to label different substrates. In this case a self adhesive label, for carpets usually a heat sealed label and vinyl’s a barrier label to ensure durability.

  • Gimped / Pinked edges

    Some material that is prone to fraying can be cut using a gimping / pinking knife or cutting form to prevent this from happening. A heated blade can also be used which further reduces fraying for synthetic fabrics.

  • Staples – Traditional & Clinched

    Affixing of material to your presentation can be done with a simple staple available in both traditional and clinched formats and variety of capacities.

  • Flexible Braided Wire Ring

    Traditional a security solution and often used in POS units the flexible braided wire security ring also makes a great solution for some swatch sets, providing a neat interchangeable system that is extremely durable.




Packaging & distribution

  • Standard cartons

    Usually a double wall corrugated card designed to bulk pack items into and have an effective yield on a pallet when stacked.

  • Individual cartons

    If your marketing products are to be despatched individually then this method can ensure that there is no damage en-route. These can also be packed in bulk cartons for delivery to your distribution centre.

  • Printed cartons

    Cartons can be bespoke printed by screen in spot colours or digitally in full colour so images can be included as well as logos and product information,

  • Shipping and delivery

    To suite your requirements from ex-works, pallet delivery, container shipping or distribution of individual items or cartons to multiple destinations.
